Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of financial statements in accordance with local requirements, US GAAP and PepsiCo reporting rules and deliver business priorities to sustain effective control environment for Traditional Trade Channel, Export and Intercompany process.
Maintain efficient, well-controlled and optimized S2C (sales to collection) cycles for Traditional trade, Export and Intercompany channels and provide financial stewardship of company assets and activities by safeguarding company assets.
As Control Owner, to ensure controls under responsibility are executed properly, potentil gaps are identified, actions are taken
Ensure accurate, timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, variance analyses in accordance with PepsiCo Policies and Procedures. Conduct FMS ledger closing.
Ensure accruals are calculated and booked in accordance with Pepsico policy and procedures on time.
Monitoring & Controlling & Approving all activities under third party service provider (Platin) responsibility very closely and take proactive actions for process simplifications
Monitoring Distributor, Export and Intercompany reconciliations on a timely basis and lead for necessary actions
Lead accounting process for traditional trade, export and intercomany customers. Ensure invoicing process completed on time accurately.
Ensure Distributor, Export and Intercompany customers’ receivable balances reported accurately.
Ensure Distributor, Export and Intercompany customers’ payments are received on time, tracking aging report periodically to improve cash flow.
Provide a collection forecast for Traditional trade, export and intercompany channels and make variance analysis.
Ensure Traditional Trade channel DSO trend analyzes are prepared accurately on time.
Ensure close communication and stakeholder management between Third Party Service Provider and PepsiCo
Supporting internal and external audits, corporate audits for all cycles under responsibility. Ensure necessary actions are taken on time to mitigate risk.
Providing periodic timesheet of the team-members, analyzing workloads and taking proper & correct actions.
Supporting DRs on their development areas for effective results and identify opportunities for all team-members.
Continuous training of his/her organization and third party service provider.
Stakeholder management for Traditional Trade channel.
Ensure timely support provided to Tax department for reports and ad-hoc requests.
Conduct distributor allowances are calculated in system accurately on a timely manner. Credit Notes are received and booked on time. Monitoring Pepsell system closely.
Pursue digitalization and simplification opportunities in systems (Oracle & Pepsell) and processes constantly

8+ years experience in Finance with strong control background
Bachelor of Accounting/Finance subject
Solid understanding of business levers
Ability to work cross-functionally
Strong internal and external communicator, influencer, and negotiator
Ability to set and priorities short, mid and long term objectives
High energy and strong curiosity for learning
Motivated to change and simplify processes
Deep understanding of financial management principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English & Turkish
